MOVIES - I am a film major. I LOVE all kinds of movies! TV - I have worked at a movie theater and video stores. I am usually behind on TV because I have not watched live TV in a LONG time but I enjoy watching shows on DVD because there are no commercials and you do not have to wait for the next episode. Currently I am watching Game of Thrones s1, Supernatural just finished s2, X-Files s1 and Tales from the Crypt s4. BOLLYWOOD: I was into Bollywood long before the hype. I took a Bollywood film class in college then started taking Bollywood dance classes too. ANIME: I have always loved anime. Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z were what got me started and now I watch all the shows I can. MANGA : Recently discovered I can find them at my public library (which is great because buying them gets EXPENSIVE)! Yes, libraries still exist. GRAPHIC NOVELS/COMIC BOOKS: I have been reading Fables, Walking Dead and the Sandman (again all from the library!) SCI-FI/FANTASY BOOKS: I just finished the Hunger Games trilogy, and I am currently reading Island of Dr. Moreau. OTHER: Making movies and music videos! Rock climbing, drawing, dancing, going to concerts, COSPLAY and dressing up in general, going on adventures, exploring, trying new food, cooking, and crafts!
INTELLIGENCE, sense of humor (I am often goofball ^_^), playful, creative, willing to try new things, motivated, well spoken (cause I am a talker and I will want to discuss EVERYTHING), self confidence, and a nice smile.\
Ignorance, trying too hard, arrogance and posers.
My idea of a good time:
Like that episode in "Hey Arnold!", the perfect day: pretty much doing as much as you can! Go to multiple movies, go on a hike or go to the beach,! go to a concert, eat SUSHI, go to a late night J-pop/techno club, and eat dessert!
3 Things I cant live without:
Friends/family, entertainment (movies, games, something to read, music to dance to), and animals ^_^
Geekiest thing I have ever done:
Well, a few funny things I have done as a geek: Growing up, every inch of my room (walls, ceiling, and shelves) was covered in posters (life-sized Spider-Man, X-files, Tomb Raider, Queen Amidala, X-Men, Tenchi Muyo, Faeries, and so much more), or action figures/figurines (Biker Mice From Mars, My Little Ponies, Faeries, X-Files Barbie Dolls, Spider-Man 2099, Fate/Stay Night, Unicorns, and so much more); at one San Diego Comic-Con, I dressed in Spider-Man attire head to toe (Spider-Man shoelaces, Spider-Man socks, fishnets, Spider-Man boxer shorts, Spider-Man t-shirt, and fishnet long sleeves); I made a web series called "Quest for Comic-Con" and it is chock-full of nerd/geek references and my own personal geek items.
